Dear Lizzy-
Thanks for the note. And the MJ song, too! How timely…and I know I am not alone.
Things I have learned.
[Not to brag but...] SOOooo many people love me. I must say that is wonderful to hear. And now that we’re adults people aren’t afraid to say so.
Not only that, but so many people also have faith. Marc sent me a quote from the gospel of Matthew that says having faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains (wasn’t he Jewish?).
Another thing I have learned is that my family is great in a crisis. My brothers immediately got in gear and got me set up with this surgery inRichmond. My nieces are pitching in with babysitting and driving. So many friends have lined up to help. And my Bible study group will go to mass at the time of my surgery to pray for me. With all this support, who can be afraid? Not to mention, I have been too busy taking care of things to worry…which is surprising because I am a total worrier by nature.
Third thing I realized is that I still have so much living to do. I want to see how these kids turn out! Plus, I still haven’t been toAlaskaorAfrica.
I am glad to hear about Debra getting a colonoscopy. I know of at least 8 people who have made appointments since I told them of my situation.
Love, Ann
